An incredible hunk of California "Mother-lode" Gold & Quartz... At just under a troy pound, you cannot believe the weight of this baby in your hand! This stunning whopper was recently found in El Dorado County with a metal detector. It has a total weight of 11.49 Troy ounces (357.42 grams) and contains 8.92 Troy ounces (277.56 grams) of very pure, buttery yellow gold! This giant is somewhat fragile, and needs to be handled with care. We have had a 3rd party, professional specific gravity test preformed on this specimen (see photos below). Test documentation will of course be shipped with specimen to the next owner. Specimens of this size are ridiculously rare and hard to find. This specimens has been very briefly soaked in acid. It will be a for sure highlight in anyone's collection, as well as a great investment opportunity!
