A Fantastic high-grade mineral specimen of leaf-gold & quartz from California!
This incredible, 100% natural gold specimen was recently found with the help of a metal detector in El Dorado County, and is exactly the way it was found.
It weighs 16.92 grams, and although the content is less important on a specimen like this, the SG test indicates just under 6 grams of gold is contained. It is a wonderful display specimen and has an excellent contrast of white to pinkish colored quartz with very pure-attractive looking gold. It has awesome character and will be a great addition to someone's natural gold specimen collection!
