This is a very pretty 276.3 gram (or 8.88 troy ounce) gold & quartz specimen from somewhere in Europe. I acquired this beauty from a gentleman in Italy. He did not know the exact origin of this specimen, but did mention that it was part of a family heirloom for many years. Most of the gold appears to be concentrated on one end of this specimen. This is a wonderful and very affordable mineral example of gold and quartz, and will be a great fit in anyone's natural gold collection.
