An extremely rare and quite beautiful mineral specimen of gold & hematite from Australia!
This beauty was recently found with a metal detector in the East Murchison Goldfield district, which is 9 miles south-east of the township of Sandstone.
The specific gravity test indicates that there is around 12 grams of gold inside of this guy.
We haven't encountered many specimens like this one, and it is much more pretty than we were able to capture in photo. It will be a great addition to any natural gold collection.
