This one of a kind, beautiful gold specimen was recently found by a local gold prospector and his metal detector in the Folsom mining district. It weighs in at 32.62 grams with the specific gravity test indicating around 15 grams of very pure & pretty gold being contained. It has fantastic shape, color & character and is a wonderful example of how gold is formed naturally in the quartz host rock.
