A Gorgeous mineral specimen of gold & quartz from Central California!
This is a wonderful specimen of pinkish colored quartz with very pure, bright buttery-yellow gold shot all throughout. It was found with a metal detector near Folsom in Sacramento County, and has an awesome contrast of yellow gold on the pink quartz. It weighs 34.73 grams and the specific gravity test says it contains about 8.5 grams of native Californian gold. It will be a wonderful addition to someone's natural gold collection!
