An Incredible mineral specimen of Gold, Quartz & Arsenopyrite from California!
This 100% natural specimen has gold protruding from all sides. This wonderful museum quality piece weighs an astonishing 458.21 grams or (14.73 ozt.) The specific gravity test indicates around 200 grams is gold, but that figure is with quartz only and the arsenopyrite is a little more dense than quartz. The only way to know for sure how much is contained would be to extract the gold from it, but that would destroy it's natural beauty. A continuity test shows that pretty much all the gold is connected to itself throughout this amazing piece. The gold was laser assayed at about 85% pure.
