A Truly "One of kind" Gigantic quartz boulder, absolutely loaded with gold from Eastern Oregon!
This extremely large, very rare, 100% natural gold & quartz specimen was found several years ago with the help of a metal detector in Baker County. It was found along the Burnt River Canyon at a depth of about 2-1/2 feet. It weighs an incredible 1861.10 grams (59.84 ozt.) and has had a professional specific gravity test performed, and is estimated to contain 292.72 grams or (9.41 ozt.) of yellow precious metal shot all throughout it. Specimens such as this one, are insanely rare and hard to come by, and you would be hard-pressed to find one just like it if you tried. It will be a wonderful addition to someone's natural gold specimen collection!
