51.6 Gram Oregon High-Bar Mine Gold Nugget

This extremely impressive chunk of gold was found with a metal detector in Eastern Oregon (Baker County) at the High-bar mine. It was found with the help of a metal detector years before the Hoffman crew with "Gold Rush" from the discovery tv-show mined there. We have had this piece on reserve for awhile and have decided to let it go. It weighs 51.6 grams and has been touched up a bit with some acid. A photo of this nugget was used as one of our Icon images for our webpage. It will be a great addition to any natural gold collection.
